Mark 14:38 says, "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” NKJV.
There are many definitions to prayer we've come across in our journey as a believer. But sometimes we tend to lose the real gist of what it is all about. Don't we? Due to the complexity of our human mind, our prayers often change its perspective. Sometimes we think we have prayed a real good prayer and at other times we think, it never went above the roof. That's because we are wired on the inside in a way that we connect things to the tangible and the visible. If you feel that way. You are perfectly normal. Praise God!
In essence, prayer is nothing but a conscious and a humble action that would announce to the whole world (Seen and unseen) that you are dependent on God in every way, in everything and in every moment. That gives us the true sense of security and strength. Prayer puts things into God's hands. He takes total responsibility of what happens in your life and he will always help you come out victorious.
Today, why don't to swap your troubles and weaknesses with God. He is willing to give you his peace that surpasses all understanding. Pray and let him take Charge!
Prayer
Dear LORD,
I realize how fickle my strength and wisdom before you. As I pray this prayer, I acknowledge your Ultimate authority and power over all things. Please take over my fears and anxieties and comfort me through your Holy Spirit. I thank you so much for your perfect love towards me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen!
